Novaterra Aviation Fuel industry operates one of the most extensive refuelling networks in the world suppling fuel, lubricants, and sustainable solutions in over 15 countries. Our supply refuels an aircraft roughly every 14 seconds.
We are one the leader in the aviation fuel industry for over 10 years. These days, at our research facility in Houston, USA, we have expert scientists working to create new premium aviation fuels. Our innovation in aviation fuels and our high standards of quality earned us the title of Best Aviation Fuel Provider at the Emerging Markets Aviation Awards (EMAA) in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
Novateraa continues to be a frontrunner in providing high-quality products and services to the aviation industry.
We’re leading the industry in the development, testing and roll-out of our new fuel handling system called Novaterra Fuel Protection that protects engines from the risk of Superabsorbent Polymer (SAP) contamination.
Our Novaterra Jet Fuel is a premium aviation fuel offering major benefits to pilots, operators and owners of turbine aircraft in Canada and Brazil. Novaterra Jet Fuel minimises or eliminates problems previously associated with the build-up of water in fuel tanks on business jets, turbo-prop aircraft and helicopters.
Avgas is the type of aviation fuel used in small piston engine powered aircraft within the general aviation community. These aircraft are predominantly used by private pilots and flying clubs and for tasks such as flight training and crop dusting. Piston engines operate using the same basic principles as the spark ignition engines found in cars, but they have a much higher performance requirement.
The additive content of jet fuels varies considerably, depending on whether the fuel is for civil or military use. Additive packages for avgas, on the other hand, are standard. Only additives that have been through a detailed and comprehensive evaluation and approval process are permitted.
A fuel water detector can be used in jet fuel to find out if there is any water that cannot be seen with the naked eye. It’s a capsule that you attach to a syringe, which you use to draw out 5ml of jet fuel. When testing jet fuel with the Novaterra Water Detector, watch to see if it changes colour from yellow to blue; this means that there is water.
Safety data sheets (SDS) communicate information on properties and hazards of substances and mixtures, recommendations for safe handling and use, requirements for storage and transport, and measures for first aid, accidental releases, exposure control and personal protection.
Integrated operations working together to deliver value to our customers.
